The Future of Dentistry Comes from Slovakia: Slovak Investment Holding and KInIT Invest in AI:Dental
Bratislava, September 12, 2025 – Innovative technology, Slovak talent, and global potential. Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) and the Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT) are investing in AI:Dental – a Slovak deep-tech startup that uses artificial intelligence to transform the way both future and practicing dentists learn and diagnose patients.
The investment round amounted to €800,000, with SIH and KInIT each investing €400,000 in the form of a convertible loan. The investment is financed through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic, Component 9 – Support for Research, Development and Innovation.

From University to Retirement: An AI Assistant for Dentists
AI:Dental is developing two main AI solutions – clinical diagnostic tools and interactive educational platforms – designed to support dentists throughout their entire careers. The startup aims to become an integral part of dental practice, from the very first day at university to the last patient treated.
The company is already collaborating with universities and clinics in Europe, the USA, India, and Egypt, with the ambition of establishing itself as a global technology leader in the field of AI for dentistry.
