SIH invests €1.4 million in VisionFlow. The Slovak startup is developing software data infrastructure for artificial intelligence.
Bratislava, September 22, 2026 – Slovak Investment Holding is investing €1.4 million in VisionFlow, a Slovak technology company developing a platform that helps businesses prepare and manage data for artificial intelligence and computer vision.
The investment forms part of a €2 million funding round, alongside a private Slovak co-investor from the IT sector. SIH is providing the investment through a convertible loan maturing in December 2028. The funding comes from the Slovak Republic’s Recovery and Resilience Plan under Component 9.
VisionFlow brings together video processing, data annotation, quality control, dataset versioning and data process auditability in a single platform. The solution is designed to help companies manage the growing volumes of high-quality data needed to develop reliable AI applications.
The platform can process video footage from fixed cameras, industrial systems and drones. Its main areas of focus are video analytics, smart mobility and industrial automation.
“The future of AI depends not only on the quality of the models, but also on the quality of the data behind them. VisionFlow is tackling a critical part of the AI ecosystem. We believe SIH’s investment will help the company accelerate its technological development and commercial growth,” said Juraj Jusko, Director of Direct Investments at Slovak Investment Holding.
VisionFlow will use the €2 million funding primarily to continue developing its product, expand its development capacity and strengthen its commercial activities. More than half of the investment will go towards the technological development of the platform.
The company plans to launch its first pilot deployments in 2027, before gradually expanding its sales activities across the European market.
“One of the biggest challenges in artificial intelligence is turning the data that companies already have into high-quality training data for AI models. Companies are generating increasing amounts of video footage from cameras, industrial systems and drones, yet processing this material and preparing it for model training remains complex and time-consuming. That is why we are developing VisionFlow. The platform brings the entire process together, simplifies it, automates the anonymisation of sensitive information and allows users to track where data comes from and how it is used to train specific models. We are pleased that SIH is investing in VisionFlow at this stage of our development. Its support will enable us to accelerate both the development of the platform and its rollout with our first customers,” said Marek Vančo, Co-Founder of VisionFlow.
SIH’s investment in VisionFlow reflects its commitment to supporting innovative Slovak technology companies with the potential to bring new solutions to market, compete internationally and develop products with significant economic potential.
