Slovak Startup Resitech Secures €500,000 Investment to Fuel Growth
Bratislava, June 16, 2025 – The digital management of apartment buildings is getting a new boost. Slovak startup Resitech, which significantly simplifies life for both property owners and building managers, has secured a €500,000 investment from Seed Starter of Slovenská sporiteľňa and the Slovak Investment Holding (SIH).
Tasks like organizing meetings, voting, or reporting issues can often be a source of stress in multi-unit buildings. Resitech offers a solution that turns these pain points upside down. With a simple, user-friendly app, the platform connects apartment owners with property managers and eliminates excessive paperwork, delays, and misunderstandings.
“Resitech was born from the desire to remove unnecessary complications from the lives of both managers and owners. Not everyone has time to attend meetings or check noticeboards. Property management shouldn’t be about chaos, disputes, or piles of paperwork. That’s why we created Resitech – a tool that brings order, transparency, efficiency, and peace of mind to residential buildings,” says Tomáš Paciga, founder and CEO of Resitech.
Today, Resitech is used by nearly 100,000 people and over 100 property management companies across Slovakia. Through the app, residents can vote online, report issues, communicate easily, and access building documents – all without the need to visit offices or navigate bureaucratic hurdles. For property managers, the platform automates routine tasks, helps maintain oversight, and increases trust between all parties.
Strong partners backing a smart solution
The €500,000 investment will allow Resitech to continue growing, enhance its functionality, and expand into international markets. This marks the fifth investment from Seed Starter, the corporate venture capital fund of Slovenská sporiteľňa, which is co-investing equally with Slovak Investment Holding.
Seed Starter, backed by Slovakia’s largest bank, brings more than just capital to the table. It also offers strategic guidance, expertise, and business connections that open doors to broader collaboration – including innovation in financing apartment building renovations.
“Resitech is not just about technology – it’s about making everyday concerns simpler. We see a team that understands people and knows how to bring structure where there used to be confusion. These are the kinds of solutions we want to support and help grow – even beyond Slovakia,” says Michal Vanovčan, Managing Director of Seed Starter.
Slovak Investment Holding joins the project as a strong public partner that supports socially beneficial innovation. “Slovak Investment Holding has long supported solutions that improve people’s everyday lives. We believe technology has a powerful potential to drive positive social change – and Resitech is a great example of how innovation can simplify and clarify essential housing processes,” says Juraj Jusko, Director of Direct Investments at SIH. This investment is financed through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic, focused on strengthening funding for research, innovation, and early-stage businesses. SIH is deploying this investment on a pari-passu basis, meaning it multiplies the capital by partnering with private co-investors.
Investment as a starting line
Resitech plans to use the funds to grow its team, develop new features, and invest in marketing. Expansion into the Czech Republic and Croatia is under consideration. Recently, the startup launched a new feature that automatically tracks changes in property ownership, further easing the work of property managers and enhancing convenience for residents.
“This investment means a lot to us – it confirms that we’re heading in the right direction. That our technology truly makes a difference in people’s daily lives. It’s not just about one big idea – it’s about everyday work, constant improvements, and listening to those we serve. And thanks to this partnership, there’s still a lot of work ahead of us,” adds Tomáš Paciga.
