Slovak Investment Holding is an investor in the fund managed by CEE Capital Management, which assumes full responsibility for its corporate governance and the roll-out of its investment strategy. Formed as a fixed-term investment vehicle with a projected 10-year duration, the fund launched in 2020 and completed its active investment period in December 2023.
The fund focused on backing waste management projects regardless of the enterprise's maturity or size. Capital was deployed through equity and quasi-equity instruments, invariably in tandem with a co-investor under a pari passu mechanism at the individual investment level. This operational model effectively crowded in private capital, supporting projects dedicated to infrastructure expansion and advanced waste management technologies.
The fund is currently its divestment phase, with the manager progressively winding down holdings and returning capital to its investors.
