04.05.2021

Bratislava, May 4, 2021 – The Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) has signed an investment in Streamstar as part of its SIH Anti-Corona Capital Programme, which channels development capital to innovative companies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Streamstar is a Slovak technology company engaged in the development of products for the production and live streaming of video. Their facilities act as a "television production studio in a briefcase" and enable the result to be achieved in the form of a complete broadcast that can be broadcast live on several platforms. Streamstar solutions are sought after for their intuitiveness and wide range of live production options, which will be especially appreciated by sports viewers. In addition to European customers, Streamstar also supplies its equipment to the USA or Japan. The investment from SIH  will primarily serve to finalize the full transition of Streamstar solutions to the cloud environment.

“The convertible loan from Slovak Investment Holding will enable us to accelerate the transformation of our solution into the cloud and support further development of the company. The cloud software solution from Streamstar will bring a significant expansion of the customer base, savings, scalability and a high degree of flexibility for our customers using the latest technologies. We believe that thanks to the support from SIH, we will be able to achieve our goals, ” says Radoslav Tóth, CEO of Streamstar.

The partners of the SIH Anti-Corona Capital Programme are the Slovak Alliance for Innovative Economy (SAPIE) and the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
