From resources managed under the terms of NDF II., SIH provides UniCredit Bank with a first loss portfolio guarantee amounting to EUR 12.1 million. The agreement was signed in September 2018. On the basis of this financing, UniCredit Bank will be able to offer loans to small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia up until 2023.
From resources managed under NDF I., SIH provides UniCredit Bank with a first loss portfolio guarantee amounting to EUR 13.0 million. The selection of UniCredit Bank as financial intermediary for this investment activity and the signing of the agreement was made by the European Investment Fund in March 2013. On the basis of this financing, UniCredit Bank provided in the period from August 2013 until October 2016 loans to 147 small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia.
