15.06.2021

Bratislava, June 15, 2021 - Slovak Investment Holding has concluded an investment in SENSONEO under the SIH Anti-Corona Capital Programme which provides development capital for innovative companies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sensoneo develops and provides innovative waste management solutions that enable towns and companies to manage waste efficiently and transparently thereby increasing environmental friendliness and quality of life. With its unique intelligent technology, Sensoneo is revolutionising how to manage waste. The solution combines proprietary monitoring sensors, advanced tracking devices and sophisticated software, enabling towns and businesses to comprehensively digitise waste management, make waste streams more transparent, make strategic decisions based on real data and optimise transport logistics.

The solution is designed to be easily and quickly installed in any country in the world - it is flexible, agile, easy to integrate and connect things through all currently available Internet networks. Thanks to business and distribution partners, the solution (or its individual tools) is currently used in almost 60 countries around the world in 340 (primarily pilot) projects.

"We feel that the smart waste technology market in which we operate has woken up again after the pandemic and is growing faster than before. This investment is very helpful for us to be able to serve the growing demand and thus further strengthen our expansion. We appreciate that the state is our partner in this intention," says Martin Basila, CEO of SENSONEO.

The partners of the SIH anti-corona capital project are the Slovak Alliance for Innovative Economy (SAPIE) and the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
